Our Home Addition Reveal!

The addition is finally done! Will, the outside anyway. In only 112 days we added on 600 square feet including a basement, and remodeled/reoriented another 280 square feet of our home! Be sure to check back in a few weeks for the interior reveal!

The hand prints! At my childhood home my dad had us do the same. The one piece of the house we could not take with when my dad sold it 53 years later.

My wife and I bought our first house this summer, the deal closed on August 1st, on August 30 we had our second daughter! We are planning to move next summer! More than that, the house is new, but I would not say that it is particularly well built, so I am looking forward to all my projects!! And it is a very small house, so I am even thinking to build a new one from scratch after maybe 5 or 10 years.

And YOU guys are such an inspiration!!! Thank you for all your work!

My wife even jokes that "OMG we're going to be just like that family from Dude dad but across half the world, you're always going to invent some new 'projects' and you're always gonna need 'a couple more days' ". And you know what? I THINK IT'S AWESOME!!

So cool!!! Definitely something to consider when you purchase a home is if you can do that!! So much more affordable then buying a whole new house!! Plus adds more value to your current home!
