Kamoer FX-STP peristaltic pump

I bought this pump to feed my calcium reactor, and installed it tonight. This isn’t a product review, just an update for tonight. It’s super quiet, takes up very little space and will feed water into the calcium reactor 24 hours a day.

I believe I calibrated it correctly but will be playing with it in the next few days to assure it is running smoothly.

I have this running for three month and it is the best piece of equipment I have purchased for a long time. The ph in the reactor is constant and Kh is very stable without having to continually adjust the effluent flow rate. It is a great addition to anyone running a calcium reactor.

so for the in on the pump, it draws water from the sump/tank, and then the out of the pump goes to where? the feed of the calcium reactor and then feeds the effluent line?

Hi Marc, Do you know how to adjust the spring loaded knurled knob on the pump head? Yours goes back and forth more than mine, but I can't find any info on how to adjust. This pump has made CaRX use as easy as dosing2-Part!

Great video Marc! Very curious to see how this fairs long-term. I run Masterflex pumps that cost double this for an older/louder/used model, so if this pump can take the abuse of constant duty while being much cheaper, then this is a game changer!

How is this working out? I am about to buy a calcium reactor and this is probably the right solution for my new 325 gallon but curious what your thoughts are after the first month. This seems to be a far more accurate (and easier then a needle wheel) to hone in exactly what is needed for the tank. Any plans for an update video? Great channel by the way. Always a great resource.
