I feel sorry for people who avoid doing things they want to do with their phone just because the battery will go down fast. I mean, why not enjoy your phone and do everything, right? 🤷‍♂️ My iPhone 13PM is now at 86% batt health after 1yr and 5mos. I play heavy games and charge it whenever I want. We should enjoy our phones since we paid a fortune for it.

Fast charging in general will kill your battery. The problem is people want to use their phones 24/7 and can’t be without their phones. I’ve been using apple slowest chargers for several years and my health on my iPhone 13 Pro is STILL at 100% after a year 😊

I do similar things with my iPhone and it’s at 85% - iPhone 13 Pro since launch. 80% after two years is normal. I kind of took care of the battery when I was in my Honeymoon phase but I stopped caring after like a month after.

Two quick basic advices from my side would be avoid using your electronic devices while charging and secondly the charging cycle should be between 25%(charger should be plugged in) -85 %(charger should be plugged out)

My 8 month old 14 Pro is still holding at 100 percent battery health, but it is very lightly used. I keep it in low power mode almost all the time, I spend most of my screen time on an iPad which obviously spares my phone

I just use the regular Apple wall power adapter, and my maximum capacity is still at 100%. Many have complained about the wireless or MagSafe chargers as the culprit; which would make sense because one is constantly cycling the battery with multiple charge. Therefore, degrading the battery’s shelf life sooner.

No. 1: Avoid any type of heat. Be it wireless or fast charging, gaming, etc etc.

But something else’s going on with the batteries nowadays I think. When I sold my xs max after three years it had 89%. I’m doing the same things with my 13pm and it’s on 88% after almost years. And I’m still on iOS 15.7 so iOS 16 can’t have messed up my phone. Not sure what’s going on.

90% health for a power user after 1 year actually isn’t that bad, considering that the battery is rated to decline to about 80% after about 2 years or 500 charge cycles.

My 14 pro battery 🪫 got worse as well. That’s why I’m upgrading to the 15 pro, I cant wait to upgrade.

Got mine on release day and still at 96% so not doing too bad. I tend to stay away from betas and keep phone between 20-80% where possible. Also I use anker 30 watt charger and cable

I exclusively charge my iPhone 13PM wirelessly overnight without removing the leather case, it is still at 100, and my AW6 40mm is still at 85 after charging every single night for like 3 years, there is definitely something wrong with the iPhone 14´s battery .

I avoid battery health i check it after 1 to 2 years 😅 yh the best rule don’t be the person checks every 3 to 6 months you get battery anxiety

My devices 12pm: 85% & 13pm: 90%
14pm: 95%

Charging method
Belkin 3 in 1
Apple MagSafe Duo Charger
Bunch of 15 to 20 wireless chargers

I avoid pluggin unless it’s emergency 😎

Mine is 88% after almost a year! I only use Apple genuine chargers (lightning) and the very occasional magsafe use. I would consider myself a moderate-heavy user (hardly games, but movies/shows/youtube)

I think Apple needs to put a cooling thing in your phone so if it’s heating you can automatically put it on cooling mode.

You also need More batterie when light Mode is on. So going with dark Mode the whole Time makes a difference.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max seems to be losing 1% of it’s capacity every 3 weeks. On July 15th this year it went down to 99%, then July 30th it went down to 98% and now it’s August 21st of 2024 and right now it’s at 97%.

Had the phone since November of last year and it stayed at 100% for 8-9 months of use.

14 Pro max, Bought in October last year. 92%, was at 95% like a month ago. Lost 3% in between the last updates. The phone is lightly used, mostly to play a game about an hour a day and I use the S22 Ultra that I use as my main driver, everything is done there.

I had my iPhone 14 pro max for a bit under a year. My battery health is at 93%, I think what affected mine was having a Dbrand acid skin, my phone definitely got hotter faster
