The silver bard, the virtuoso of the void, the argent adept. All these names given to the once simple bartender Anthony Drake, turned musical superhero.

I really enjoy playing Argent Adept in DE. He can be one of the more complex hero’s, certainly the most in the core set, but for an experienced player he’s got the potential to be the best support in the game.

Really well done! I would like to comment on you saying that he’s fragile though. He can be a really effective tank if you need him to. I find that as an argent player, I usually end the game at the highest HP. He can do that with three cards:
-Counterpoint bulwark is a bit hard to use, since performing rhythms is a little hard to do for him, but it’s incredible for tanking. It can seriously neutralize villains.
-Rhapsody of vigor is the strongest healing card in the game easily, as you can realizably use it 2 or 3 times per turn. It’s incredibly silly.
-But the main thing that makes argent a tank in my experience is inspiring supersonic. As if it wasn’t strong enough already lol. In argent’s key combo setup, you’re usually triggering a harmony accompany 2 or 3 times per turn. Alacritous subdominant has a very situational accompany, and cedistic dissonant is a hard card to play I find. So you can spend all those accompanies on healing yourself.

You do need to get these options, and argent isn’t very reliable in that way, but any of them makes him very durable. He doesn’t really have any drawbacks, other than being setup heavy. He can do pretty much anything in the game, and long as you know how to navigate his spells.

One of my favorite heroes in the game, but definitely not for new players. He is the ultimate support character!

Agent Adept players tend to have trouble learning how to best get the most out of him unless they learn to use the powers on himself to get more powers and healing and stuff.
