Take a tour around our new look Co-op food store in Melbourne.

This video takes a tour around the aisles on its reopening day, 14th June 2024. It was formally launched by President Tony Price with assistance by pupils from nearby Columbus School.

SEN pupils from the school, which is just a few minutes walk from the community shop, visit the store at least once a week where they learn about how to use cash, food hygiene and healthy eating, social rules and a whole host of other skills that many of us take for granted. We were so pleased they were able to join us in launching the store and each received a goodie bag as thanks.

Our Melbourne store undertook a remarkably thorough refit, which was remarkable as it was only closed for two days. You can take an online tour around the shop here.

Changes included a smart new My Coffee Station, expanded layout and revised product listings, new instore decor and an updated cool black exterior. It also adopted the International Co-operative Alliance's globally recognised logo, making it the latest of Chelmsford Star's shops to join the international co-op family.
