SENA 30K vs. Cardo PACKTALK...Waterproof Test (Bold/Slim)

(THIS IS THE FiNAL TEST IN THE SERIES...FOR OBVIOUS REASONS lol!!)

Bought the 30Ks because I've been a long-time Sena user and this was their latest/best offered. Some of the guys I ride with, however, went with the Cardo Packtalks. We decided to do some friendly head-to-head comparisons, and to make a long story short, my 30Ks went back. And it wasn't a difficult decision. Made as many videos as I had time to do before the return date for my 30Ks passed, so here they are!

I am considering buying either one but currently have neither so I don't know what those led light indicators mean. Is the Sena "light show" indicating some problems? Did the Sena fail? What is the conclusion or result of this video? Thx for posting this and other Vs videos. Very informative and helpful.

I have theSena 30K. It does not work in the 🌧 at all. A lot of money wasted on this, if I had known I would have bought a Packtalk Bold. Will upgrade before my next trip. Very disappointed ☹️

Will the factory says that it’s water resistant which means it resists water to a certain degree but not all of it.

And you got your money back? I mean, Sena never claimed any of their products as waterproof AFAIK. Does Sena even replace units killed by natural inclement weather?
