At CES 2025, Yaber introduced an impressive lineup of projectors, including its first-ever laser ultra-short-throw (UST) model, the K300S, and the ultra-portable T2. The K300S boasts a compact design capable of projecting a stunning 100-inch image from just nine inches away, powered by a triple-laser light source with vibrant colors and built-in JBL audio. Meanwhile, the T2 redefines portability with a lightweight design, built-in battery, and streaming-ready USB dongle. Yaber’s offerings blend cutting-edge technology, affordability, and versatility, making them ideal for home theaters, camping trips, and everything in between.

Yaber is honestly lacking behind, no price bangers, no power bangers.
You just get, what you're not paying on top for a better product...
The competition is definitely worth a look at...

Thank you still, Caleb!

You need to cover Valerion. They are redefining what a projector can do at a lower price point. They have a booth at CES

unfortunately the yaber k300s is only 1080p

Since Caleb is so knowledgeable about home theater set ups, I do wish he would review more projectors. They’re still the cheapest way to get a massive picture and sadly there just isn’t all that much good content for projector reviews

For $1, 000, I would not be looking at Yaber as an option. Considering Epson is releasing UST's that can be found for $999, this doesn't seem all that competitive. I don't trust Yaber's ANSI measurements, but if the T2 is actually 400 ANSI Lumens, for $225 that is a solid deal. Hopefully The Hook Up is able to compare some of these to other projectors as similar price points.

Great Projector Find! keep the new UST projector News Finds coming! Currently have 6 Projectors (all the old school type with front projection and some with Interchangeable Pro lenses) after moving into a new Home in Tennessee by the Smoky's with a different kind of Floorplan, now have ideal space to place a great 4K UST projector that can project up to 100" wide image in 1.39:1 (cinemascope) wide format. The Video content is being provided by both a 4K Commercial Blue-ray player and the new Kaleidescape Strato V Movie Player. Also really like the new set of Lifestyle type projectors that you can just quickly attach to a 2-inch diameter counter to ceiling quick mount poles (Manfrotto Short Deluxe Autopole-2). I can throw these lightweight poles anywhere and just clamp miniature projectors or LED lights (web casting) etc. Turns out the are ideal for popping lifestyle projectors anywhere in your kitchen, dinning room or office for a quick on the wall TV experience in less than 60 seconds. I have several Source Four Mini LED Ellipsoidal lights, the quickly pop on 2" poles next to lifestyle projectors, and can light up existing Artwork on the walls around the house.

Projectors are not bright enough. Not unless you can block out all light sources.

you did not say anything about the resolution

With my issue being ceiling height does anyone know the lowest the bottom of the picture can be from the unit of the short throw? He said 9 inches from the wall but what about height?

For me projectors are a better option than TV's. You can do the size of the picture that you desire. In TV's you have what you have. When you're getting used to the size of the picture you are stuck with that size and that sux. With projectors you just need to put them a little bit more away from the screen in woilaaaa, you have 20 inches more.

For projectors, and especially portables ones, information about true 24p cadence support, and 4K 60fps HDR support, would be useful information. Love this videos and your insights!

Yaber is a nobody in the projector scene. They make cheap, and poor performing projectors. Plenty of other options
