SP Racing F3 red light flashing problem (solved)

After all the setup, calibration and configuring the quad copter. When commanding through the Transmitter, the motors were not responding. When throttle stick is moved red light use to flash on the FC.

Basically what the red light is saying is the motors are being locked (safety feature). This lock needs to be removed to throttle up the quad, that can be done by moving the yaw stick to the right (keeping throttle at 0%), and hold there for 2secs the red light will glow, immediately bring back the yaw stick to the neutral position the red light is continuously glowing. This means the motors are active now (unlocked). Now when you throttle up the motors spin.

To lock the motors again move the yaw stick to the left (keeping throttle at 0%) and hold it until the red light is gone. Now the motors are locked again.

this is happening to me when i try to plug it in to the computer. I havent gotten to connecting it to a transmitter yet, the light is blinking and the motors are not running when i use cleanflight.
