I would like to install this mod kit on my lite, however I have absolutely no experience in soldering as a whole, let alone micro-soldering. Before I start doing anything to consoles I would first like to practice and learn soldering and micro-soldering, is there anything in particular that you recommend for this type of thing?

I got a v6 pico chip that looks like this v6 instinct chip (cable goes over the ram, under the cpu shield and bends over to install). Should work the same right? Flash chip, solder components, install chip, cut shield, reassemble, install sd card with cfw?

After installing the chip and powering on I made it to the no SD screen but after I reassembled the console I got hit with blue screen only. What is most likely to have gone wrong in just the reassembly steps?

Mr Sthetix, I installed a modchip following this tutorial and everything worked until the last step.. I extract the HATS pack into microSD card but when I put it back in the switch, it either fails to boot (modchip glows purple then green then shuts off with nothing displaying) or displays a message saying failed to boot init.

Do you know anything about this? I tried formatting my microSD, I did this via Macbook, idk if that's an issue, any help would be appreciated.

I have no power to chip and system after installing the ribbon cables. Any idea as to what could be happening? It boots up normally if the chip is disconnected.

there it's some reason to cut the main metal shield? I never cut it, and never put kapton on chip, my console is working fine for a year

My Switch Lite shows the Instinct NX screen but it is unable to go through the OFW. Whenever I try I always get a blue screen. I also get a black screen while I try to boot the console with the sdcard inside.
