After a couple hours on the phone with a very patient and helpful tech rep from SONOS, we finally got two SONOS speakers paired for stereo and working from iTunes on my PC. BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONALITY IS LIMITED TO ONE SPEAKER. That\s right. When you flip from WIFI to bluetooth you go from stereo to MONO. Right from the tech rep's mouth. I did NOT want it to be used with streaming services. How about from iPad. Well, at this point you can access your iTunes library with the SONOS app. Mine does NOT use the library on the iPad. The iPad shows SOME of my music library on the PC, but not all of it. So, I will be calling the Tech rep again to find out why I can't access my whole library. None of the numerous videos that I have watched have discussed using it with your own library. Unless I find out otherwise, I have to have my PC running in order to use the speakers.

I think using the streaming services is trivial, I got that to work right away. But I don't need an $800 radio. I already have an inexpensive internet radio to do that job.

You guys are awesome, thanks for the information. I have a Sonos Beam currently. Going to upgrade to ARC. Currently the BEAM turns on with the TV. QUESTION: Can when I switch to the ARC can the other walls speakers (not SONOS) turn on at the same time as the ARC & TV?

I bought it and Alexa won't listen to me when I turn up to more than 4, what's this due? To the speaker or Alexa, I wrote to both customer services and none of them wanted to answer for this problem, the product is in Guarantee, I bought it a month ago.

Sonos is deluded thinking that they're going to move those speakers for 400 quid. Yeah, I think I'd quite rather have a laptop for that price, thankyouverymuch. Or 200 slices of pizza. Or 600 donuts. Or 800 pounds of potatoes.

JBL products are cheaper and better quality. I'd rather buy a a JBL party box 100 or 300 for that kinda of money, over-rated, and hyped-up. And who needs to talk to their speaker, you nut bags.
