MethylMalonic Acidemia, Cystinuria and Cystinosis | Lecture 14

This lecture describes the biochemical basis of three disease: Methyl Malonic Acidemia, Cystinuria and Cystinosis. The cause, treatment, manifestations, enzyme deficiencies of all these disease has been explained. Special emphasis has been placed on the difference between cysteinuria and cysteinosis.
Methyl Malonic acidemia is caused the defective metabolism of methyl malonyl coA produced during the metabolism of branched chain amino acids.
