I have never had a fine adjustment table saw like this. I was able to dial this form 0.021" out to .001" in 5 minutes. This is way cool. I also checked this at 45 degrees and was off by 0.010". Close enough for me. I don't feel like adding shims for for this amount.

Is it just me or does this video completely gloss over the fact that the rear bolts are inside the cabinet and you have to tilt the blade to 30 degrees to be able to access the left rear? then you have to put the blade back to zero to do the adjustments.

What's the difference between 1ph and 3ph when it comes to making your purchase of 5hp industrial model?

We have the contractor model in our school shop, and while the saw stop is an important safety feature for our students, I am less than impressed by the rest of the saw. The miter stop is not of a quality one would expect in a saw of this price range. The fence is firm and accurate though. Dust collection leaves a bit to be desired as much of the saw dust covers the front of you in spite of our massive dust collection system. The biggest concern though is that after only a few years of very intermittent use ( we only operate 9 months out of the year, and the saw gets used less than an hour a day), the motor went out on us, and rather than a simple fix like a switch or capacitor, the motor had to be rewound. I have used many different saws of this caliber over the decades, and have never had to replace or rewind a motor on one. Equally concerning is that sawstop was no help at all on this issue, so with the limited budget our school shop has, we had a several hundred dollar ($350) repair bill to get it back running. Needless to say would not be my choice for the home shop and definitely not for a commercial shop..
