BLENDER: DUNGEON CORRIDOR (PART 3: MODELING)

In this video, I extrude two sections of the back wall to add more depth and interest and model a simple cross to place in the middle of that wall above the arch and gate. I also model a barrel and spear. Then I show an early render in Eevee so you can see the current lighting in the lanterns and begin to get a feel for how the scene will look.

I may decide to add some pottery and possibly a skylight and some additional debris to the scene and am thinking about whether I want to put a hole in the ceiling (for the skylight) and in the wall behind the arch gate at the back. But overall, the modeling is just about done.

And it is pretty much time to get to the texturing. This will, of course, require me to separate some of the joined objects and do the uv unwrapping, assign some materials, and a bunch of prep work. But we are going to do all of that and get this dungeon corridor looking cool!

Thanks for watching and see you in the next video.

I can see monsters running around which could escape from the tentacle. And then there's me cutting them into pieces. 😊🪓 Looks fantastic! 💃
