Sarah gringosplaining Salsa to the Cubans is kind of funny…I’m unsure of why a saxophonist would love doing the Berlin Philharmonic but I think it’s bc the state music system (where young musicians w talent are steered into magnet schools for the arts) is pretty much all classical and then they learn the Cuban music from the streets so most musicians have a healthy dose of both
