Binary LED Watch - How to Read and Set Time and Date easy instructions

This video shows how to read a binary watch and how to set the time and date. Binary watches can be a bit difficult to read and many watches are tricky to set. These are easy instructions for binary style watches with the 2 vertical banks of LEDs as shown in the video.
The left side shows the hours from top to bottom. This side also has an AM indicator LED on the lower left and Date LED just below that. The Date LED is labeled "DT". The upper right column has the minutes in increments of 10s. The LEDs are labeled "10", "20", "30, "40", and "50". Below that are the single minute LEDs. To read the binary LED watch, press the upper right button to activate the time mode then, 1. the last LED number lit on the left is the hour. 2. The last number LED on upper left is the minutes in 10s then add the minutes below that for the single minute.
To read the date, press the top button twice. You should see the "DT" LED lit up on the lower left bank of LEDs. 1. Read the month on the left side bank of LEDs then 2. The day in 10s on the upper right then add the number LEDs lit in the single digits just below.

This is good but, what if the place is dark the only thing you could see for sure is the light but not the numbers

I got mine out after a few years and just turned it on. Idk why but mine shows the unilluminated as the reading lights. Also, date is lit when displaying the time and AM is lit when displaying the date. I have double checked and this is the case weirdly 🤔

I just got mine today. Is there a way to set it so the lights stay on? When I'm working, I can't always reach over and push the button. I want to tell at a glance what time it is (after doing a short equation lol).

I have two different style binary watches..bought them from China..took awhile to get, but so worth the wait..paid under $10 with free shipping for both watches..bought them on eBay..too super cool! 😀
