I have a theory that Rainbow Blaze(The Pony that looks simaler to Rainbow’s dad) is Rainbow Dash’s older brother or cousin. I like to think it’s some one from her family.

I think that rainbow blaze was rainbow dashes father but him and rainbow’s mum got divorced and after that rainbows mum fell in love with how hot hoof instead, possibly even rainbow blaze’s brother for all we know, that would explain why they look so similar. I think that what I’m suggesting is a very good guess at least, it would explain a lot and it works

So a filly would look up to their elder brother right? They would probably be their idol. So rainbow might’ve tried to make her her like her brothers and be athletic like him. And unless I’m missing smth there’s very much possibility’s that my theory could be true. They have similar cutie marks too! He could’ve got more of his dads genes then his moms and give me ur opinions on this theory :)

I would say he is rainbows older brother as they did go to school together (Google) or maybe a cousin.
And we see that she got her inspiration for flying when she was defending fluttershy and got her cutie mark 😊

I think Rainbow Blaze is her uncle, but also serves as a mentor for her in terms of her athletics. Although he wouldn't be present for her contests as a filly being an athlete himself. Maybe instead of being a Wonderbolt, he is more of a racer.
