Every NBA team has made a terrible trade in their history there's no way around it. But there's some teams that just consistently make the same old mistakes and when they do make them they just couldn't possibly get any worse. One or two bad mess ups every once and awhile is always acceptable. When some are this bad though it really makes you question who's in charge of these teams.

The worst Jazz trade is BY FAR the Gail Goodrich trade, trading the 1979 pick for a washed *FORMER* all-star. The Jazz didn't make the playoffs, and that pick became Magic Johnson.

Though it worked out, the worst trade for the Raptors might be to get Kyle Lowry. They traded their 1st round pick for 2013 and a player for Lowry. Come off season, the Raptors saw the potential of a certain Greek prospect and were going to draft him. They attempted trades to get picks in order to draft Giannis, but none were successful. Eventually, the Bucks drafted Giannis and the rest is history.
