Adding Perennial Color In My Woodland Shade Garden + Self Watering Project

Today, I turn an old rustic wine cask into a self-draining water feature - an impromptu project that materialized as I got to work rejuvenating more of my outdoor garden. I've found that creating a beautiful garden requires a variety of considerations and I share my thoughts on plant types, shading, growth, colors, zoning and other factors that ultimately determine the final success of my garden rejuvenation. Love this woodland garden. I have a shaded area like this and will be making plans for next year ( have to do major preparing for the area ) to transplant some hostas and add character to it. Thanks for getting me excited to do something in my shaded area. Have a wonderful day.
