China in the eyes of an American: Why is U.S. media lying?

Why does mainstream U.S. media always portray China in a negative light? Cyrus Janssen, an American vlogger who lived in China for over a decade, shares his views.

Why? It comes down to jealousy, jealousy and more jealousy. Nothing in American media is worth reading, needs a catchy headline like China. Remember WSJ "the sick man of asia"? Didn't take long for US to grab the title.

CIA propaganda. Lot of Falungong and Indian and jealous trolls on the internet as well.

Besides fast railway, China too has excellent efficiency. Let us look at the speed in which the residents of Qingdao were tested and the source of the CoViD identified. In five days, over 11 million people were tested in which they have identified 13 patients with CoViD symptoms and 8 asymptomatic cases, isolated them and their contacts and then found the source which was from imported frozen goods from abroad.
In the UK, we cannot get our testing and tracing right. We cannot control the virus and we are in a terrible state.
China will be growing economically in 2020 where most countries will be in a contraction.
All I can say is well done China. I just wish Boris will send a few smart people to China and learn from them and bring home some things which will improve our efficiency and management and perhaps we too can control the virus spread and allow the economy to grow.

Why? 1) Jealousy; 2) Unwillingness to accept the fact that their system and institutions, including the media, is mediocre compared to those in China.

Another reason is demagoguery. Democracy produces demagogues as a natural outcome. In turn these demagogues preach about how wonderful the democratic system is like it's a religion. The people of the public believes the demagogues and never question the system, but will see anything different from the system as literally the work of the devil or "evil" people. America being one of the most religious societies in the world helps this mindset along.
