The absolute terror. A single man who can't control his fear puts the entire group at risk, forcing someone to make the choice of either eliminating him entirely and removing him as a potential threat, or simply muffling him and running the risk of the Death Angels hearing. It sucks big time when your greatest enemy is not only the psychotic aliens, but your fellow humans as well

What really got me in this scene was the sadness in Henri's eyes. He really didn't want to kill that guy and infront of son, but he had no choice, he had to protect his son and the people, Dijmon Hounsou is really an underrated actor.

This was the most terrifying scene of the movie, and it didn't even have any alien in it.

The sad truth is if this is something that actually happened in today's world, my folks and I would have to do this to my grandma. Because she legitimately cannot keep her mouth shut to save her life.

At first, I thought he was just going to accidentally throw him off the building and be torn apart by the death angels.

He's clearly in the middle of a panic attack, or loss of sanity, which is a terrifying death sentence in this movie. Panic attacks are out of the person's control; I doubt this guy purposefully meant to endanger anyone - even himself - he just lost it, and lost all baring on what would keep them all safe in that moment. I also don't think the guy trying to silence him meant to kill him. Perhaps knock him out, or 'knock some sense into him', but I suspect he was too panicked to realize how much strength he was using.

0:42 if you listen very closely (volume up), you can still hear explosions in the background. im pretty sure those f-35s continued bombing bridges all the way to the berrazanno-narrow bridge. nice detail

First of all, wow. Second, this would explain how this universe went quiet. In the other movies, I was under the impression that the ones we saw were the only ones that landed on earth. Also, since we technically know how these thing are defeated in the 2nd movie, how do you think they are doing?

Remind me of a tragic story during a civil war where the group need to hide as soldiers hunted them down. A mother holding her baby had smother her child to death because the baby cried. She simply had no choice. This story always stick to me.

_The Pacific_ had a scene like this. World War II, soldiers deep in Japanese territory, a marine in the platoon got hysterical. Others were trying to shut him up, but one of them ended up killing him. The man who killed him was sad about what he did, but his commanding officer reassured him he did the right thing.
