I love that Linka looks like Drago from Rocky 4 and Wrath Castle looks like Grayskull from the He-man movie.

Thank you for uploading this. It’s interesting to see what it would have looked like. I probably wouldn’t have liked it—the redesigns of the characters are somewhat ugly. Wrath Mageddon and the robots standing behind him look good. A Blade-Runner-esque world could have been cool, but then the Planeteers should look more grown-up and square-jawed and punky. The original series did some episodes with the heroes in alternate, dark timelines that did a better job of conveying the characters’ appearances.

those designs were pretty popular in the mid 90's.
Doesn't really look like it was linked to the main series. Did feature films have to be spin off's, was that the trend? Or had something really gone wrong in the world over a decade or two?
I would have liked to have seen the movie. I think i would have liked it. Then again, I was ten in 1995.
Shame it didn't get made.

With nowadays technology, a live action movie might be a great success... of course an excellent crew would be needed in order to really make it work or it will end up like Dragonball movie did...

There are things that were good about it: the world, the bad guys, the castles, the islands. But the planetears look ridiculous, Linka looks like a drill Sargent for the army(she lost her hair in a bet?), Gi looks like a anime/manga fangirl with that strange hair(they should have went with long hair for her), Kuami is okay, may an ok for Mati, Wheeler is just something bad with him. Also the bad guy is not very original. If they came up with something a little more original it could have worked

the old captain planet is the best dont try to destroy a great show like captain planet and the planeters because it was awsome the way it is.
