F-Zero - Mute City by @banjoguyollie

It's new cover time : the Mute City theme from F-Zero on the SNES. Great game, great soundtrack and I'm , once again, surprised it's taken me all this time to get back to this soundtrack!
It's not an overly difficult tune to play, but the second and third harmonies for the lead melody are just plain crazy. It's almost off but somehow stays together and resolves well.
I didn't have a Super Nintendo back then but when my friend got one this was the first game we saw on it and our jaw dropped to the floor...MODE7. What was you first reaction to it ?
