There is a wealth tax right now. It's called Property Tax. I am currently paying around 7.5% of my total income to cover the Property tax for my house.

The most punishing tax, to people who must sell just to pay the tax, has been the "Inheritance Tax " imposed on Family Farms. 😮

In 2018 I bought a house in a Dallas suburb for 205k. In 2019 the tax value was 399k. Thats an unrealized gain of 194k. My pay didn’t go up. In fact my standard of living went down considerably due to inflation. Now imagine paying a 25% tax on that gain.

I have a daughter who was conceived by rape. I ran the gambit of thought upon finding out. I couldnt abort, thought I'd give her to my sister who can't have children... then realized I'm too selfish to watch my daughter be raised by another person. She is the best, most sweet, bright social child. If I had to make the decision 1000 times over I'd make the same one. I hate with everything In me that they present abortion as if it's the only option in such cases.
