Tips for working faster!
1. Start with a simple build, a wood table with metal base is always a winner and hair pin legs can make it an easy afternoon project.
2. If you need to stabilize any cracks or bad spots, use tinted bondo or CA to keep moving fast, they dry quick!
3. Keep commonly used hardware and components on hand so you can build with what's on hand.
5. Instead of clamps, use screws or brad nails for glue ups so you can keep moving.
6. On dense or thick material that can burn easily, cut outside your line then use a light spring pass cut to get remove the burning instead of sanding it away.

Sometimes to speed up projects, I speed the video up 2x or 4x. It's amazing how much quicker it gets done then.

Great tip on the bondo! I always hate working with epoxy because it basically means that is the last thing I can do for the night (which is when I get to work, at night when everyone else is asleep in the house) I'll have to try the bondo next time I need to fill some voids so I can get to sanding (the favourite part of everyone's build) more quickly!

Too bad I watched Bruce's video first, I was waiting for the...er...error measurement. LOL Love this table build, and that olive wood

As a professional perpetual procrastinator I am against speeding things. But I do like the metal heating and waxing tip.

looks great! i'm going to use the tip about burnishing the wood with a high grit sanding before the wood filling is done to help prevent the wood filler(i'm using Timbermate) from getting in the grain. What did you use to make the bark adhere to the table? How often have you done that and what have your results been? looking forward to meeting you on the 22nd

When it comes to multipul items if I'm working on building the same thing multipul times I stick to one thing till there all made then move to next item so if 20 legs need to be welded I weld them all before moving on good way to do quick assembly when your done with all items

I like the bondo tip.... can you dye it any other colors?

Great project my friend. I am wondering can the Bondo take any color dyes from System Three or is it limited because of the Bondo.
Thanks for sharing.

I like working with olive wood. I've made a few beard combs from it

Sheesh heating up the metal before adding paste wax, that's so smart!!

So now I’m curious... I had heard bondo was too rigid to allow for wood movement. Is that not the case? I guess maybe the same question goes for epoxy.
