"Basically the world we live in" That sentence was funny and so so fucking terrifying.

"It's basically the world we live in." - Yep. This episode is not satire; it's hardly even science fiction. It's a documentary.

I used to spend 6 hours a day posting on facebook. After watching this episode I immediately deleted my account. I never thought a TV show could have such a drastic effect on my behavior but it did. It's now 2018 and my life is totally different without facebook. I never relapsed, not even once. Thanks Black Mirror for giving me my life back!

I tried so hard not to watch these featurettes so the episodes would be as fresh and unexpected as possible, but I have no self-control, so here I am.
CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON THREE! One more week!

The ending is the best thing about this episode. Loved it.

I remember watching this episode and it was a great representation of the path we are headed towards if we don't realize people are all different. Just like the saying "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid"

Am watching the series for the first time and just finished this ep. Scary how true it is, where we are headed with technology. The whole series even, shows the dangers of getting too immersed in the world on your screen rather than the world around you. BDH was great! She continues to show us how much acting chops she has and that she has more to offer than Spider-Man 3 and Jurassic World. This ep was a definite standout so far!

The funny thing is that Youtubers are exactly like this., Cling to a certain social circle. They only hang around other top youtubers. Also, if you are lucky enough like other Viners/Youtubers. You end up residing in the same building complex that's disclosed just for them and other entertainers. Thus everyone is fighting for likes, subscribers, and views. I can literally see the world heading in this direction. No joke at all.

Reason I say this is because businesses now only thrive if they get good Yelp reviews; which can make or break them. Depending on their star ratings. You're only popular if you get a certain number of hits and followers on Instagram. The world is becoming so digitally fake by the second that it's becoming ridiculous. I literally miss the 90's. Where people were real. The towers were still up, and we all just got along. While giving you the chance to experience society by meeting people for the first time by actual face to face confrontations. It didn't matter about your status or who you knew. Yet just the person you currently are.

Social Score = Credit Score

So funny, but so close to being true.

I am CONSTANTLY referencing this episode when comparing it to the society we live in. The concept of likes and dislikes on social media, as well as the rapidly growing vain desire to rid oneself of all physical imperfection in tiktok subculture, as well as “INFLUENCERS” as a whole…literally this episode

As sad as it is to say, this is a good portrayal of life today. We are so caught up in what others think of us we put on a “show” instead of being ourselves out of fear of the consequences. This pours into our work as well, how do we make the people whom work for us comfortable enough to be themselves and share ideas and passion for their work... we have to make sure they feel free of criticism and comfortable in their environment!
