Inkscape for Beginners: Isometric Design Tutorial

Today's tutorial will go over the method of isometric design -- presenting a 2D object as 3D by putting the subject at a 30 degree angle

This tutorial is for Inkscape version 0.48 and is intended to teach you how to use the software.

I thought grid lines were useful before! Placing them on a 30 degree angle adds a whole new dimension! Great video!

Quick and effective. I'd never used the inbuilt grid before, I always built my own grids. Amazing what can be learnt after several years of DIY and invention, lol!
Also never knew selecting 'b' opened the Bezier. Love that one.

I know inkscape isn't illustrator or Corel draw, it's buggy and somehow slow, but it does really good job for free. I'm not graphics designer but I'm using it everyday at my work for documentation diagrams and schematics.
