Kojima went from being a default genius to now being an under appreciated genius. Whenever a song played in this game it was genuinely one of the most beautiful gaming moments I’d experienced. Particularly the moment I was climbing down a mountain and during the final mission of the game.

Kojima nailed it with the song, the feeling, the atmosphere, the landscape and terrain. Going through the tense feeling of trying not to get discovered by BTs and then arriving at the top to overloak a beautiful landscape with your destination within eye distance. Salvation is near, just a little further until you reach it.

Its almost as if this song is for men who are suicidal, lyrics are dark and truthful. "So many men are losing, while out there doing the proving". The ending "dont suffer alone tell us" "we are here for you" bring more positivity and feeling that there is hope. Guys if you feel this way dont do it, its not worth it. I was and am feeling this way all the time but its worth being here, dont hurt yourself and others by harm to your own body and soul. We love you, this life is worth living.

Finally got around to playing Death Stranding two weeks ago. It was the perfect rest from these current times, what an absolutely divine experience. Long-time Kojima fan, but I'm glad to experience more from him than just MGS. And I'm quite enamored with all the comment sections of my fellow porters.

I remember that instead of going through the B.Ts, I just hiked up the entire mountain and was met with the most beautiful view of the city from the top. I was struck with awe when I had to descend an entire mountain while this played in the background.

Truly one of the most unique experiences I have had in a game.
