One Direction members react to Liam Payne's death

Former One Direction members posted a statement on social media Thursday, saying, "we are devastated by the news of Liam's passing." Liam Payne died on Wednesday after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. CBS News correspondent Lilia Luciano reports on new evidence in the British singer's death.

I remember with great fondness taking my two granddaughters to see One Direction in Seattle, at Qwest field a few years back. As a Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Cream, Priest fan, I had no expectation I would like the show and decided to let it be but before long I was thinking thank you, I'm so glad and realized that I really had another thing coming as the show went on.
As it turned out, the show was excellent and featured Icona Pop as the opening act. Their PA system was one of the very best I had ever heard, no folding, no distortion just extreme loudness at it's very best that shook the entire stadium to its foundations.
I left the show a fan and am sad that Liam has passed. For my granddaughters, I am also sad that they will never see full reunion of the band, likely feeling the same way I felt when John Lennon was murdered in 1980, forever ending the hope of a Beatles reunion. RIP Liam.
