Testing Surface Waves Velocities in Arctic Alaska (MASW)

During our research trip, we performed Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves testing or MASW. This was done to calibrate our Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) line to measure surface wave velocities. By doing this we can then estimate the health of the permafrost in this area and identify underground structures like ice wedges.
