This was such a convoluted way to rank Kendricks discography 😂

I have a feeling this list is going to be bottom heavy with a lot of Drake albums while being top heavy with Kendrick albums.

What I gained from this video is that Drake has regressed, Cole has shown progress, and Kendrick has maintained a balanced performance while giving us great bodies of work.

Kendrick and Ye got the strongest discographies front to back in hip hop, no cap, no comparison.

Not including mixtapes is a disadvantage to both Cole and Drake. Both of their best projects are mixtapes (iyrtitl & fnl)

As a Kendrick fan, 4YEO is actually a really deep and sincere project. I think a lot of people misread some tracks on that project. I hated Foldin Clothes as a track at first, but slowly started to love it as time went on. (Edit: if we included mixtapes, IYRTITL is easily top 5. His best work by a landslide)

Bro saying “Off Season” is all cap, and knocking it so hard because you didn’t like some shit he did since is WILD. Like bruh what? A M A R I is still a fire song even if your sad he’s not tryna beef with Kendrick anymore.

For all the dogs scary hours edition, is a solid project, with I’d say 6 skips on a 29 song album that’s crazy

I don’t think dropping the off seasons ranking because of him apologizing doesn’t make sense it’s honestly one of his best

14:56 He lacks critical cultural understanding. He’s gassing the “apology” & conflating Cole’s clear/empirical rapping ability with the disappointment of his mentality towards going at Kendrick… A actual friend. Our philosophies towards how he should or how we’d like him to respond has no bearing on his actual rapping ability, the off season was not a project aimed at anyone directly let alone made with the specific intent of going at Kendrick, it was purely to showcase his admitted desire to “Bar niggas up again”… Something he felt he loss after the making of 4YEO. To isolate the disappointment of this recent moment then use it to diminish the success of -easily one of the best projects of the 2020s is manipulative & myopic, smh, you have to do better

I knew Kendrick was gonna win, I just watched it for the glaze. Kendrick is not miles ahead, he's world's ahead.

Bro KOD was hard. Every song was a concept of a different form of addiction whether it be drug addiction, addiction to money, addiction to work, or sex, or pain, or pride. I believe every song is a representation of a different form of addiction. I think it’s arguably one of his best, minus a few songs. And 4YEO was hard as heck too and painted a great story of someone growing up in struggle and the culture that surrounds it and how it effected the people around him.
