Students plan walkout over Baltimore City schools budget

Students at the Baltimore School for the Arts plan to walk out of class at 1 p.m. Monday in protest 200 E North Aveof recent budget cuts. They will march to the Baltimore City Public Schools District office on 200 E. North Ave. to speak with Baltimore City Public Schools CEO Sonja Santelises and Baltimore City Public Schools Ombudsman Karen Lawrence. The students want to be involved in the conversation over budget cuts, which they say have impacted their librarian and math teachers.
