I love the fact that everything in this trailer make sense!

"The hungry purple dinosaur ate the kind, zingy fox, the jabbering crab, and the mad whale and started vending and quacking" is a phonetic pangram which means that it contains all the sounds (phonemes) from English.
Edit: it contains quite a few of the English phonemes but not all of them - some are missing such as 'zh' (as in 'measure') or 'sh' .

I think it has something to do with eyes/visions/"seeing things"- OD or oculus dexter is Latin for right eye, the text looks like a Snellen chart that goes in/out of focus, their eyes have images reflected in them, and the logo looks kind of like changing lenses on a phoropter machine! So excited for this project

Reading that the description for the game is "immersive game blurring boundaries of gaming and film" and "testing your fear threshold" reminds me of that Black Mirror episode about the popular game dev NotKojima's revolutionary horror game.

Peele and Kojima collaborating on a horror game is already enough to sell me on the game. And they haven’t even shown gameplay!

This reminded me so much of the P.T. presentation when they showed people's reactions to the "mysterious horror project". What we're seeing here is basically a sophisticated performance capture I believe.

@ 1:02 is a good time to zoom in on her eyes. You can see some of the room and the exit door opening up not long after. I Can't wait to see more from this "game" I quote game because Kojima says that it's more of an Immerssive movie than a game (I'm not surprised considering his games are really heavy with cutscenes) but Kojima is one of the best directors and one of my favourite so i'm really looking forward to seeing what this game is like and I'm glad to see that he's still directing games. I wish he would make a new series similar to what he did with metal gear solid.

Here's my theory. It's some kind of trial based around varying levels of fear. They're obviously being asked to read the same phrase but in each scene the mood and delivery is much different. I think during whatever this "trial" is the participants are going to be exposed to varying levels of fear (i.e. something horrifying like glimpsed at the very end) and then asked to read or interpret something as kind of a baseline. You can tell in the second and third scenes that the participants are much more stressed/fearful while the delivery in the first scene seems relaxed and "normal"

Knowing Kojima I wouldn’t be surprised if this game requires a webcam or microphone or something to use. At the VGA’s he said it will be using Xbox’s cloud gaming service. That itself is interesting but also at the very end of the trailer you see the Unreal Engine logo as well as 3Lateral and Metahuman. This could be very interesting I’m excited to see what it ends up being.
