Chima is one of the 16 realms in Ninjago universe. Remember in season 5 when Lloyd and Morro were fighting for the realm crystal and it teleported them to Chima. And since the merge caused all realms to combine together, so it would make sense if Chima realm got merged too and Lord Ras, the creature from Chima realm could come to Imperium too.

A lot of people probably don't remember this, but there is a place in Chima called "The Outlands".

Considering Lor Ras 4+ set includes a crystal that is the same mold as chi was in lego chima sets it does make me wonder if during dragons rising there will be a momment where he uses chi

In china there was a place called the “outlands” so maybe that’s why the empress used outlander because ros may be from the Outlands

Even though I am not someone who grew up with chima. I feel like it be amazing if the fans of that show got something out of this.

It better be confirmed that he is from chima, because of several reasons.

It's one of the many realms in ninjago lore

It's made by the same creators as ninjago

It could be a great revival excuse by lego

I'm ok with him and the other animal people being from Chima. Doesn't really change the situation any other than offering a possible crossover in the future. Would be interesting to know how he became black since Tormak was burned.
