Koh I noor polycolor 144 pencil set - unboxing and swatch and my thoughts - Adult coloring

Today’s video is an unboxing and swatch of the 144 set of koh I noor polycolor pencils which I recently purchased from ebay UK.

Ah! You went for it. I thought you would. I keep looking. I can't match up the missing colours because not only have they mixed the colours between the 2 tins, they have renumbered some of them and because my originals don't have colour names on them it's impossible to know what you have and what's missing! I even got Cult Pens to try to help me. But they couldn't work it out either. I have 88 pencils. I had the skin set too, and added a few obvious missing ones from open stock. The rest will remain a mystery.

The new set has a wonderful array of pinks. The original 72 set was very short on pinks. But I don't recall them being dusty. I think I thought the new open stock pencils were a little creamier, so perhaps they have changed the formula. I too prefer a harder pencil and love oil based over squidgy waxy pencils. It takes time to find what we like.

This one of the most balanced color pencil that I've seen! The range is beautiful! Nice review!

I agree with you regarding the type of pencils you like. I love layering colors. I am always amazed at how close we are in our opinions regarding the color art hobby.

That cardboard lift tab/holder is brilliant and such a cheap fix for a common problem, don't know why everyone isn't doing it.

I have these and love them as well. Probably because I finally realized, after 2 years, that I prefer hard leaded pencils :)

Ooooh I have ashtrays wanted to try these. This was dangerous to watch. Kind of sucks how they created the larger set though for those with the 72

I have the old seventy two set and I don’t remember them as dusty. I like them when I use them of course, there is no comparison with my more high end pencil sets.
