Great Dr Anil Thomas for his opinion, as no where any particular community in particular, why some Christian leaders objection?

Now some Churches have been converted to "shrines". Theertha and prasada are distributed. Aarti is going. In one word the new convert will not find much change. As long as Hindus treat caste as religion, conversions continue.

Conversion is a multi-billion dollar business. Pastors, middlemen, politicians, Police are involved in this business. Everybody gets their cut including persons who convert. .
