This is going to sound strange because the character who sings this song is quite Young but it's lovely to hear a song by someone a little bit older with a daughter of her own. My mom is gone now and I take care of a lot of people's kids. And loving them makes me feel more connected to my mom than ever then suddenly I think oh the person who loved me like that is gone now it's different but it aches in a new way
