My heart sank at the title 😂 I first thot I can't do a purple page in my sage/grey/cream colour themed journal... but by "coincidence" my page to work on was a green gold colour and I realized its a "yuck colour" for me so... challenge accepted! I do believe there's beauty in every colour. Thanks for doing August Art ❤

Your yellow page turned out very nice. When I do my page it will probably be red and black. Two colors I very seldom use unless it is for Christmas or Valentines card.

Oh my. This was a great exercise!. I struggle with orange and coral. It was so amazing because I added some black and wind up liking the page. Great idea I will be repeating with some not so great color palettes.

green will be my color! it seems to be the only color i NEVER reach for unless it is for a specific purpose. but i LOVE monochromatic pages so this will be fun for me! love how you used a lot of stamps. i hope i have a lot of green stamps cuz i want to do it too!

I chose purple. It's not really a yuck color, but one i just dont use often.

I like every color depending on the shade. I started with a magazine ad for hair color and added some "ugly" olive green ribbon. I cut the word "shade" from the ad, and that tells my story. You can see that it took several days for me to get something down on my book because I couldn't see a clear direction to go.

I love you page (yellow is my favourite colour). I actually love all colours, so I think I will choose a bright happy colour.🧡💛
