Evil Dead Rise Is Pretty Bad

Evil Dead Rise unfortunately doesn't take the cake for the franchise, but I think Evil Dead Rise did set up something good to come in to the next Evil Dead movie. I can't wait to see the next one.

I disliked the movie. It was so boring, uninspired and yes, it was gory, but things were just happening without substance and that clearly shows, that the writers misunderstood what ED truly was…

I would say the movie is a decent gory horror movie, but the pacing is so bad where all the supporting characters die in one scene is a great example and the film doesn't feel like evil dead most of the time the film doesn't have any action and barely any comedy or since of fun

Go figure. A production featuring a Dave/David wasn't good. I hear YouTube versions are even worse.
