I have lots of those smart lights and PIRs too, but the amazing thing is nowadays bulbs use so little energy (e.g. 5W for 60W of light) that the savings of switching off and on are tiny. Better to quickly close the fridge door after opening, as fridge/freezers still use masses of electricity, especially once warm air gets in.

An art deco lamp shade will be perfect with your William Morris window treatment. Can't wait to see your new shed and green house. You are making quite a statement on your allotment.

Hi Sean
I always have a little table lamp in my kitchen at night which I keep on until bedtime with an energy saving bulb. Gives a lovely soft calming glow to the room too. Those lights would drive me mad I’m sorry to say.
Love the channel btw.

I am considering growing rice here, as we already have the paddy fields installed, and it isn't even the traditional rainy season yet.😅

Sean I planted 5 bags of Red Pontiac potato this summer and each plant gave me quite a few potatoes. I have no idea if they are early or not but they seem to grow quickly. I harvested them all and replanted them when you said to plant Christmas potatoes and I think they are growing even faster than the ones from spring. I did add some manure and worm casting soil to revive the used potting soil.I increased my crop by adding a few more containers as I loved the potatoes so much. I chose containers in the end so I can move them into my sunroom of my house if the temperature drops too much since I live in Canada. I have boiled, mashed and fried them. They go in salad too. Amazing! I only have a second crop because of your great videos - I will let you know how they do 😊

I always grew potatoes in bags and buckets and placed around my borders. Takes them out of the soil rotation and saves the back on digging them up. When its time for storage I stack them in the shed and empty them as needed. You can recycle and refeed the compost. I use it for 2 seasons for potatoes and then refresh and reuse it elsewhere.

think about an air fryer - you can make a little parchment envelope filled with leftover veggies and heat them up quickly in the air fryer. My microwave is an expensive coffee reheater.

Not sure if I’m replying to the right video Sean as I tend to watch all of them but I love a radish and so does my wife we must buy a couple of bags a month with the door shopping. I should grow some really 😊👍

All stores here in Tasmania are full of Xmas decorations 😮. This year … where has it gone? Thanks for showing the seeds, interesting, I love calendula, flowers in salad, also with cacao butter and lavender as a moisturiser, beautiful

I’m trying English peas this Fall as an experiment to see if they’ll produce. They’re about 4” tall so far. We traditionally plant them around St. Patrick’s Day when I lived in New York, USA. But since we moved to North Carolina I plant them 4 weeks earlier due to the heat here. I had faster germination planting them now. So far so good.

Thank you, Sean...I Love seeing what other people are planting, and when. I just started 12 pak choy plants from seeds...inside to get them going, they are just going to pop out their second set of leaves...soon they will go in a big tote I'll have on my deck...I'll shove the tote under a glass top table to keep the rain out.... and not have holes in the tote....I can pop the lid on if it gets too stormy...I did lettuce that way this spring not 1 bug hole perfect lettuce...if it freezes too much I can pull the tote inside overnight.

I invested in a ninja air fryer. It roasts, bakes, deyhdrates, reheats, proves bread, super air fry, haven't used oven for over a year. Saves electric too.

Ladies Mantle is Alchemilla Mollis so similar but not the same. The Achillea is the common yarrow 😊
Yes you can eat Calendula and use it as a tea 😉
