Alliances may provide marketing branding to facilitate travelers making inter-airline code-share connections within countries. This branding may involve unified aircraft liveries of member aircraft.

I often get Sky Team going between the states and SE Asia. Korean, Air China and Garuda are fantastic and a bargain. Only sad part ending up on a Delta flight across the Pacific, when I'd much rather be on a 77W of the others.
