Anybody can do it, but no one can do like Mercedes Benz

Mercedes hasn't been doing it for 100 years either...or even 50 years. But Subaru has been doing that since the 80s. Mercedes just does it a different way. Subarus don't brake the slipping wheel, just pull power from it then divert it to the opposite corner. So if your front right slips, the left rear compensates. Mercedes was the inventor of ABS, but not All wheel drive. They just do it to compete with the times. I love Mercedes. So smooth.

0:52, is this a 4matic function or 4ets function? Have non-4matic models ETS function do this on rear axle?

So, where is the button to turn the 4 weal drive? Is it automatic?

Using the brakes instead of a differential is a waste of energy and causes fine dust . You want to send the energy from the spinning wheel to the one with traction.

the only problem with the merc 4WD system is that it hasnt won a trophy in competitive racing! it has to be proven on the race track by winning major racing events

The Genesis HTRAC and Subraru Symetrical AWD system are defintely more sophisticated than this.
