So, allow me to put this into perspective from the point of view of a retired senior citizen. My spouse and I spent half a century building our retirement savings. In just TEN WEEKS the policies of the Trump presidency have eroded our total by almost 50%. We have lived our lives frugally. We raised a wonderful family. We have made many sacrifices. We donate to reputable charities. We drive a 19 year old vehicle. We live in a comfortable but modest middle class home, which is NOT mortgage free. Trump is saying there must be pain to achieve gain. HE IS TALKING ABOUT OUR PAIN AND HIS GAIN, with his super wealthy cronies. Hear me, and believe me when I tell you that a day of reckoning is coming, and it will be Trump's pain that we will be talking about then. In seven decades of living I have never, NEVER been as angry as I am today. 😠
