I love me a fast Miata build.
But that block cannot handle the excessive torque. Gonna have issues @ the crank. Specifically at the back end where it will twist under heavy load. Such as hard launches.
Spirited driving won't hurt it. Just hard take offs.
It'll offset the main bearings. It may even snap the cap bolts. They'll certainly be bent from it.
Not trying to be a know it all, just sayin. That's way too much torque that comes with high horsepower.
Seriously, a 250-300hp Miata is a Mustang spanker. 500hp is just ridiculous 😂
