The whole time I was watching this I felt like something would go wrong with Fran like it always does. Nope, she worked perfectly. Rest in peace sweet Fran, we hardly knew ye.

Just saw this episode today during my Atlantis rewatch and the one thing I noticed was how Fran's first and last words were both "hello". Thought it was a nice touch given her rather positive outlook about her existence.

I miss this show SO much.  When this went off the air (and Enterprise) its was the end of the Golden Age of TV Scifi.  After this it all had to be grimdark.

She isn't wrong though, Imagine discovering your true purpose for being and the opportunity to fulfill it. It's like the stories you hear about elderly people finding their soul mate, they feel that they live more in those few years remaining than they have the 70+ years previous. Fulfilling your true purpose would give you the unique opportunity to absolutely give 100% of everything you are in that one moment.

they should have grabbed as many zpm's as possible while they were there

Forget taking some of the enemy ships, they should have taken some of the ZPMs once they realized the overload strategy wasn't going to work. The solution they used to destroy the planet did not require zpms. Should have taken 3 or so with them.

It's really too bad they never got another great moment like this. Wraith, humans and local Pegasus natives all working together to take down a common threat. This was the biggest moment in the entire series. Nothing else after this compared to how epic this fight was. Still good, but nothing quite on this scale.

Always loved the little FRAN storyline. So many implications, all the more powerful for how the show really /doesn't/ raise them.
