What do you mean “whatever”??? She went through the trouble to write an agreement that specifically stated they needed permission before hosting a party, that was SIGNED, and then the exact thing she was worried would happen happened and brought them to court! Why on earth would that document not be important in

She tells the plaintiff not to say stupid "YUP" and then the airhead defendant says "YUP" again

Judge Judy, "Not a yep. A yep is not what you say to a judge. A yes, no, or I don't remember, but a yep you leave outside at the beach." Judge Judy always teach things in each court case, but she is also funny too. 💯❤

$217 dollars to rent a room in 2017? An entire house for under $700. Even by 2017 standards that’s cheap.

Plaintiff was responsible. Got the lease in order, added them, removed her boyfriend. Got payment receipts, and even had a visitor agreement policy in writing. Things are looking good so far, I don't see how she could lose this one unless for the bad grammar lol

The plaintiff isn't a dumb girl. Soon as JJ told her to stop saying "YUP" she immediately stopped even though I know it was hard, growing up normalizing that word to every day use. Like muscle memory of the tongue, but glad she didn't use it after she was reprimanded. She was also bright enough to specify the party into the agreement. I think she's the type of person who would think everything ahead and include it in writing so she could back up whatever she claims. Nice job

Judge Judy, correcting the grammar of America, one litigant at a time 😂👍💕

I just love how these girls say to Judy they 'didn't have that many people' at the party only for one of them to say 25. What the hell kind of party with 25 is 'not that many people'? 25 people at a party is a lot of people! That's a big party!

The red headed defendant hasn’t hardly said anything and I already can’t stand her

For some reason the idea of “yep” only ever being appropriate at the beach is so funny to me.

In addition to the legal info, I learn terms like "kerfuffle" from JJ :)

"Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep..." Lol! I would have been annoyed on the 3rd yep. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Some people lack court / or just simple life mannerisms.
