Honestly, the real villains in this story are the girlfriend and affair partner.

I'm pretty sure the guy who was turned into the walrus was a bit of an asshole, and already I don't think he deserved being cheated on nor being turned into an ungodly sight the way he was, but to have all that happen AND be left in an enclosure like an actual animal BY said girlfriend and her affair partner and THEN be left stranded there with the idea that she still loves him?

I've seen a lot of tragedies in my life, but this has gotta be up there as one of the most fucked up ones I know of, as if it wasn't already bad enough being medically transformed by force into a monster and dying a slow death for it, but to also have your very humanity toyed with too.

I regret watching Tusk SO much. Even as a teen that shit freaked me out. It's just so outlandishly disturbing and sinister and was the first movie I ever stopped watching mid way bc of how terrifying it actually was
