the composer himself tears his classic a new one. don't know much about it, except that it was recorded in 1952 with Peter Matz conducting and that it's one of the best versions put to tape.

I had this recording on and EP many years ago and it has long since disappeared. The EP also featured Blues in the Night, somewhere over the rainbow and one other song.I would dearly like to replace these recordings.
