This is the most worthless washing machine I have ever owned.

Wow. My set works for me. The set was given to me, as the previous owner had no place to put it in their new home. At 1st, the low water levels bothered me. Found the manual online and load clothes as instructed, not dumped in the middle, but layered around the sides. Machine is designed to agitate clothes against each other and blades at bottom of tub. I used to even use deep water setting for sheets but no longer do, bc they get wet and cleaned using low water cycle. When washing larger loads, the machine automatically increases the water level higher but not like in a traditional washer. I haven’t had issues w soap residue or clothes not cleaned.

I’ve had mine - a 2015 model - for about 6 years and it hasn’t been too bad but now it’s starting to leave residue in the tub so I know it’s not cleaning like it used to. I will try the deep water. I think that is the biggest issue with it, also as instructed run the clean washer utility. People seem to still be commenting on this, so I will ask for people to name the year of their model, because that certainly can make a difference!

Set it on both "bulky sheets" and "deep water" and it will fill up with a lot of water. Those are the only settings I use. Otherwise there won't be enough water.

When doing towels or sheets, big stuff or a full tub; choosing the bulky and deep water buttons is helpful. Choosing the presoak is useful too.

This washer is trash. I hate it. I got stuck with it at work to wash rags, towels, etc. This machine has never filled up with water even half way no matter what setting. Pissed off at the stupid machine.

We got this washer in our office at work and we have to either use “Bulky/Sheets” loading or “Deep Water” for the damned machine to fill up and immerse the clothes. 😕

I use the bulky/deep water setting to wash evrything. Otherwise it's pretty much useless and you get no water. The deep water setting actually fills the tub with water and if you select the presoak option it will fill up a quarter way with soap and water for 10 minutes than run it's usual cycle.

This is the worst washer ever. We just bought a new one. There isn't enough water. If you have to wash the clothes 4 times to get them clean what's the point of low water. You are using way more resources and electricity to wash them 4 times. Big waste of money.

All I can say for my top-load Samsung HE washer is that the dirt on my socks smells nice after washing.

Mines will only agitate and wash clothes with a very small load. If I put in on bulky sheets and deep water it will fill but agitator is barely moving. HELPPPP

I use the bulk setting and deep water and unless I just put a few garments in, this washer does not clean my clothes. And comparing the agitation of it to other washers with no agitation, this one isn't great at all. I love top loading washers with no agitators, but this one made me want to go to a front loader.

1cup Vinegar in the bleach dispenser with minimal detergent & softener; every wash. Deep Water, Extra Rinse & Clean Boost. Solved the low water and residue on clothes issues. Keeps the machine clean to boot! Also, can wash an extra large load on Bulky Sheets, Deep Water, Extra Rinse, PreSoak and Deep Clean. Runtime is 1:54mins but you're washing about 2 regular loads at once. Still use vinegar in the bleach dispenser and I find Powder Detergent works better. No residue whatsoever.

Absolutely the worst washing machine I ever owned. The agitator is practically a joke. The top shelf of the load nearly vibrates which does nothing to clean.

This machine is the worst washer I’ve ever had. Unless you use bulky/sheets and deep water cycle with clean boost if you fill it half way all the clothes won’t even get wet. How is that efficient?

Knock on wood... I've been using a Cabrio WTW8040 for several weeks and so far have none of the problems all talk about... soap residue, clothes that never got wet, etc... My wash is longer, but my drying time is now much shorter.

LOL There is a button specifically for more water during the wash cycle and u ain’t using it. “Deep Water”
