I think the bang for your buck is what should really be compared if they r both making 500 hp

supercharger has a whine
Turbo has that blow off valve

Supercharger instant low end power through out the power band (great for track use)
Turbo can produce a lot more boost at the high end of the power (great for 1/4 mile or farther racing)

VF S/C start at around 8k
Turbos from hpf start at around 15k

The choice is up to you and what you plan on doing with the car

The car who won is Supercharged/Kompressor, driven by belt and the drag is there from Low RPM to High, They dont have Turbolag

looks like turbo'd car needs a better engine map or it needs higher rpms at the start of the roll..
