How to Merchant Fulfill items on Amazon - Beginners Guide to FBM

In this video I go over the basic overview of everything you need to know to start MFing items on Amazon.

Step 1: Set shipping template
Step 2: Get boxes
Step 3: List items
Step 4: Fulfill the orders

It's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. This video is here to help get you up and running in just a few minutes as we have had a ton of questions about this in our Facebook group. FBM / MFing items is a very effective way to sell during times like this when Amazon is on lockdown due to the virus. With a simple shipping template set up for your fbm orders, you shouldn't have any issues pushing out all your orders.

So it seems that Amazon has changed things around a bit but I was still able to use this video to muddle through it. I had already listed my first item as FBM (been doing FBA for a month) so then went to manage inventory > selected my fbm item > change shipping template from drop down menu up top. Yes I'm glad I clicked on your video!, I haven't tackled Amazon yet as I'm more into eBay but will file away this helpful information, I normally try to pre package my items as their already to ship, just have a labeling system to know what's in each sealed box of course, I didn't know you can schedule for ups pick up!, I normally drop stuff off at my local postal plus store, this could save me some gas money for sure!

I just shipped 5 items FBM and forgot to add my shipping template. Well, I made 5 customers very happy! The item weighed almost 5 lbs. Ouch! I was the only seller on the item so got a nice prime price, but ouch, the shipping template:.. well, not using one did hurt my profit. The plus is I’m 20 more FBM sales away from qualifying for merchant fulfilled for Q4 when it really is a huge bonus! Thanks for this video!

Nate, can you make a video on how to build a promotion on Amazon? Any strategy you use? Is it just one item, do you group many of the same items together (pants different colors and sizes) or do you group like items together (all pant different brands)?
How to easily estimate budget for promotion?
When not to run a promotion on a item?
Any tips on this would be much appreciated!
